Travelling in Europe can also include ships and ferries. In Northern Europe there are cruisers going in Baltic sea e.g. it is possible to travel from Helsinki, Finland to Rostock, Germany by ferry. In Mediterranean sea it is possible to travel by cruiser or shorter journeys by ferries. Even in inland there are river boats which are carrying people.
It is possible to travel from Western-Europe all the way to Southern parts or East-Europe.
There are dozens of ferry routes in Southern Europe which service between islands and African coast.
